SPOLIER ALERT: This post may contain spoilers so read at your own risk.

I got three words for this book Oh My God!! It does have a lot of of similar situations like Fifty Shades Of Grey but, that is what I like about this series. It is also one of my favorite series.
So here it goes….
This book (series) is about a relationship between Gideon Cross and Eva Tramell.  Eva comes from money but wants to make her own way in the world and decides to start at the bottom as an assistant at an advertising agency. While working there she meets Gideon, the man who owns the company and most of New York City. It’s love at first sight for both and things just heat up from there. They both have emotional scars from there past which makes there relationship a lot of work but neither can keep their hands off of the other.
Eva lives in an apartment with her friend Cary who is like a brother to her. But Gideon feels threatened at first thinking there is more to their relationship. But Cary has a relationship of his own and is bisexual. Gideon has little to do with his family and does not like being at his mother’s home because he says it is like stepping into hell. He warns Eva to stay away from his brother stating that he likes to compete with Gideon and only tries to get everything Gideon has.
Eva and Gideon have an issue and she feel as if he is shutting her out and they go there separate ways. However, during there brief time apart they realize neither can stand to be apart and they get back together. Gideon tells her he can’t function without her and she replies it’ll be a lot of work to have a relationship and they have some intense makeup sex at his parents house when one of his acquaintances, Magdeline walks in on them and only Eva notices her.
Cary shows Eva a video of Gideon’ s brother Christopher and Madeline accusing Eva of only wanting Gideon for his money and Christopher tells Madeline they will never last. She replies that things are different with him and Eva and then Christopher uses Madeline and they have sex.
Gideon tells Eva that he messed up and he wants to make things work with her that he’s going to see a therapist and wants to do couples therapy with her. I love the fact that he need Eva just as much as she needs him and is willing to whatever it takes to keep her. He’s also not afraid to admit his flaws. I feel like he messes up a lot but always works hard to make amends. He also needs control and tells Eva that she is submissive and that is why she gives into him so easily.
Eva and Gideon learn to be open and honest with each other and work hard to make things work. They have a functional relationship for two people who have dysfunctional pasts. I love the fact that there love for each other triumphs all the issues that threaten to seperate them.
I also enjoy the side characters in this book as well. Eva’s boss Mark is gay and in a relationship with a man named Steven. They have a cute relationship. I also really enjoy Cary who Is always there for Eva and moved across states with her. He is like the big brother she never had and knows Eva so well that he knows what is wrong with her without even asking. Eva even has a good relationship with her parents and stepfather despite her mother’s need for money and blaming herself for what happened to Eva. There is even a part in the book where Eva and her mother Monica see Dr Peterson together and Eva openly confesses what bothers her so much about her mother’s actions.
This book is hot, emotional, and will keep your turning pages. It speaks of bondage briefly but towards the end of the book and is not the main topic of this book. There is a lot of sexual tension between the two characters and there like two rabbits constantly at each other. The book even has a good happy ending which made me want to continue straight to the next.
This is my third time reading this series and the last two times I read it I was sad when I got to the last book because I didn’t want the series to end. It’s an awesome series especially if you liked Fifty Shades of Grey. It is very similar in someways but has its own qualities as well. It is well worth the read.

Well that’s all I got folks. I hope you enjoy it.
